Snowplow is the simplest, most efficient and economical type of snow handling equipment. It has come into widespread acceptance due to cheap metal-intensive production and a system of linking to three front points. The most common and budgetary option is a plow with one breast, which throws snow in one direction (to the roadside). Another type of snowplow is a switch plow or double-breasted plow, which is able to set two directions and adjust the angle of throwing. There are plows with additional side blades that push the snow out of the plane. The front snow breast is equipped with a colter, made of different composite materials; it is set in the lower part of the bottom. The snowplow can have a constant breast angle and be adjusted by the operator, or it can be equipped with a self-regulation system.
